Setting: inside classroom during lesson at 11.30 am

Professor: what’s wrong? You look tired

Classmate: Not really. It’s hard for me to concentrate before lunch. Still too early

Professor: I know, I am Italian too

Result: my stare of disbelief moved from my classmate to the professor

# Conversation 2

Setting: email communication

Me: would you confirm whether my paper is accepted for conference in Milan University.

I am supposed to receive the notification email two weeks ago according to schedule

Professor: I am sorry but it seem that I loose your file, could you please send it again

Me : ???

Result: no news so far since I re-send the file early this week
