A Non-Conversation with an Italian Professor

A couple of days a go I check into the website of conference in Milan that lost my abstract and answered in a one liner that fail reflect their regret in the negligence (see here). The conference schedule did not include my name in the presentation schedule.

I thought that three times of this kind of treatment is enough and seriously toyed with the idea not to attend it at all. Why would I sent another polite email to attend a self paid conference (albeit with interesting topic and good professors) while other conference organizer generously give me flight ticket.

But I just check the website again today and my name is there. So maybe I will re-consider attendance.
