If I Let You Go

Day after day
Time passed away
And I just can't get you out of my mind
Nobody knows, I hide it inside
I keep on searching but I just can't find
The courage to show to let you know
I've never felt love like this before
And once again I'm thinking about
Taking the easy way out

CHORUS:
But if I let you go I will never know
What my life would be holding you close to me
Will I ever see you smiling back at me ?
How will I know if I let you go ?

Night after night I hear myself say
Why can't this feeling just fade away
There's no one like you
You speak to my heart
It's such a a shame we're worlds apart
I'm too shy to ask, I'm too proud to lose
But sooner or later I gotta choose
And once again I'm thinking about
Taking the easy way out

CHORUS:

Heaven on Earth

Dance like nobody's watching
Sing like nobody's listening

Work like you don't need the money
Love like you've never been hurt

Then you will live
Like it's heaven on earth.

Reason, Season, or Lifetime

People come into our lives life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.

Some people stay awhile...
leaving beautiful footprints on our hearts...
and we are never quite the same
Some people come into our lives and quickly go...
Some stay for a lifetime

When someone is in your life for a REASON. . .
It is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty,
to provide you with guidance and support,
to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend, and they are!
They are there for the reason you need them to be.

Then people come into your life for a SEASON.
Because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace, or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it!
It is real!
But, only for a season.

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons;
Precious things worth a lifetime of effort
Your job is to accept the lesson,
love the person wholeheartedly,
and put to use what you have learned in all other relationships
and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind
but friendship is clairvoyant.
To have both in a person for a lifetime is a true blessing

which one are you?

Tango and Waltz

In the late 80’s Slyverster Stallone & Kurt Russel was all over the silver screen and one of their movie was Tango and Cash.

Ray Tango (Stallone) and Gabriel Cash (Russell) are two highly successful Los Angeles-based narcotics cops, who work in different precincts and cannot stand each other because of their vastly different styles. Tango is a smooth, organized businessman who spends the morning with the Wall Street Journal, while Cash is a sloppy person.

Another two different styles are Tango and Waltz.

While the first need lot of spontaneity, loose collaboration and some “evil” gravitas, the second thrive on planned steps and clear division of labour. Tango is best seen with playful people in a medium lit scene, while Waltz need person who are steady and confident in the blinding glare of grand ballroom.

But maybe the two is not so different. It takes two to Tango and so is Waltz. Both a great challenge to uninitiated and a joy to go through. Both need lot of trust to start and many practice to perfected. The world would be a much poorer place without either of them.

After all, Tango and Cash turn out to be a great team and put the bad guy away.

Going to China

Nope, only virtually

Xinhua (China news agency) quoted me (read in full here), apparantly from the Jakarta Post's article that quoted me which clearly because of my earlier article about financial crisis (click here).

Interesting to observe how these newspapers copying each other and punditocracy emerge.
