Mother Nature or Negligence?

Almost one hundred people dies and more than one hundred still missing in Situ Gintung tragedy.

It is a shock indeed. Especially since I live nearby.

Is it mother nature striking back due to lack of water absorbance or negligence by government? I think its a little bit of both

Understandably, checking the bottom of dam is not a high priority in budget allocation. But maybe it should.

Deepest condolescent for many lost of life and livelihood.

Look Up When You’re Down

by, Bonnie Johnson-May

When you feel your life is over and

You can’t go through another day.

Try to remember the good things that happen,

And not the other way.

No one ever said that life was an easy road.

‘Cause there are times you're bogged down,

With an extra heavy load.

It’s times like this that make you wish,

That you were never born.

Nothing seems to matter, you’re alone, unhappy,

And feeling so forlorn.

You think that you’re the only one,

That ever felt this way.

But so many people have jus the same thoughts,

Each and every day.

Who knows where these thoughts came from or

Why they ever came,

The terrible feelings they leave behind

are always just the same.

You can’t give in to these deep hours of pain.

You have to fight and release the blame.

Get rid of the bitterness it only kills,

The way to escape is not through pills.

You have to look up when you’re down that low,

And that’s when you’ll heal and begin to grow.

There’s so much power in a prayer from the heart.

Your answer may not come instantly but it’s sure a great start.

Don’t ever give up on yourself or what you can do.

God never does, so why should you?

Look up when you’re down and you’ll get through.

Your life is just beginning, you’ll be renewed.

Three pub and a quote

I was thanksfull for the hattrick I had last month (this post).

But God has been kind to me and let me have another hattrick, this time in a week.

Got published at JakPost, Sindo and Gatra. None on hard economics though (I sent an article on stimulus package to JakPost last week and no respond yet), now is election fever time.

I am even happier that the JakPost was syndicated in Asia (click here) and top with a quote in a news article (click here).

With great power comes great responsibility. May He grant me abundant insight in thinking, lucidity in writing and humility in behaviour.

The antique website of national museum

Museum is supposed to host antiquity, that's what they do.

I was looking for an event at National Musium and google the website. I find it (click here).

Didnt find the event I was looking for. The reason is quite clear after a while. As I look at the latest news, it was in 2001.

Maybe some people at the culture ministry didnt get the memo that it is OK to be a bit modern online.
